We are proud to offer our own clutch assembles for High Performance Bite and Streetable Ease.
We four different disc materials options for the best selection of bite verse smooth engagement.
• "Stage 1.0" Kit is an upgrade from the OE organic full-face to a Carbon/Kevlar full-face disc and utilizes the standard disc dimension and plate load.
• "Stage 2.0 (6-paddle)" and "2.5 (4-paddle)" Kit features a Kevlar "paddle/puck" design and offers the most bite available while maintaining reasonable traffic worthy manors. Kevlar is the most durable facings yet is wont tear you the flywheel and pressure plate. Kevlar also offers the shortest break-in period, only 150 miles, and offers the best option in heat resistance and the ability to keep from glazing over from abuse. The Kit also utilizes a properly uprated pressure plate, no added weights to the diaphragm to cause issues down the road.
• "Stage 3.0 (6-paddle)" and "3.5 (4-paddle)" Kit is our Ceramic puck kit, a more aggressive and somewhat tricker clutch for street use. Ceramic offers a stronger bite than Kevlar but it comes at a price. Our disc's all use a sprung hub (unless requested otherwise) which help with sometimes hard engagement. Ceramic can be more aggressive on the flywheel and pressure plate but if you have to be gone when the clutch is out than this is the way to go. The Kit also utilizes a properly uprated pressure plate, no added weights to the diaphragm to cause issues down the road.
• "Stage 4.0" Kit is all race, Sintered Iron disc with no sprung hub. Short of a multi-disc setup, this is the most aggressive kit available. Sintered Iron is very unforgiving and is NOT recommended for street use. Because of the nature of this disc we DO NOT recommend using the standard cast flywheel and suggest the use of a billet Steel or Aluminum flywheel, preferably one with a replaceable friction surface. The Kit also utilizes a properly uprated pressure plate, no added weights to the diaphragm to cause issues down the road. If there is a specific plate load desired for this application contact us and we can accommodate.
