I'll be placing a big order with Wiseco Pistons. Normal MSRP on a full set of custom Wiseco pistons with pins and rings is $700.00 shipped. I will be taking orders for a one time price of $520.00 shipped. you can choose any bore you want, any compression ration. the final order will be their minimum of $10000.00 (15 sets) all I need is 5 sets to finish the order. this will be the ONLY option for high quality custom pistons unless someone else can do better, and trust me I've contacted EVERY company that is worth speaking to and this is the best price ANYWHERE! after the group buy is over the price will go back up to $600.00 (not sure if I can include shipping into that).
just as a side note IPP (the 'cheapest' place for parts) lists pistons for the 2.0 DOHC for $520+$80(for rings)+shipping for well over $600US. • IPP also offers a very limited selection of bores and CRs • they DO NOT offer pistons for the 1.6 or 2.0 SOHC These pistons are being built to handle 25psi, quite a bit more than most will ever see bit well worth it. Q: How much HP can handle Wiseco pistons + stock rods? A: It's hard to say, there are guys with 230-250hp here in the Americas and 300+hp in the UK with completely stock internals. The ONLY time I've ever seen these rods fail is if they are hydralocked. The part that would fail first is the rod bolt. If you did the pistons with OE rods and ARP bolts you should be safe well into 250-300hp.

I guess you have a CLET? the rods in the Redtop are choice! really good stuff pistons too. The redtop motors came with the floating pins (the pin linking the rod and piston together)but ONLY the redtops. All the others came pin that is pressedinto the connecting rod. Even though all there where two different piston pin style used they always used a 21mm pin. This means ALL Opel/Vaux motors can use these pistons, the only thing diffeent is the rods (between a redtop-16v and eco-16v/2.0-8v. Hope that cleared things up, but I'd be glad to go into more detail if needed.

Sorry to have to pass the fees along but for orders processed though Paypal have and additional $16.00. Other methods are accepted such as certified check, personal check and credit cards taken over the phone or by email. Check would need to be made out to Daft Art Engineering. thanks, Garrett

OK guys it's time to pull the plug so to speak. If your name isn't on this list (with true intent) before the night of the 9th than the group buy wont be available to you. if anyone that hasn't completed their order would like to remove their name please feel free to do so, of course there would be no hard feelings. cheers, Garrett
